What to Serve for a Healthy Father's Day BBQ?

The whole family will appreciate every one of these curated dishes for their excellent taste, presentation, and nutritional qualities, making them perfect for a healthy Father’s Day BBQ.  

Variety and Nutritional Value

Lean and flavorful flank steak is on the menu because it is an excellent source of protein and provides essential nutrients such as iron, zinc, and B vitamins. Every steak needs a flavorful and vibrant topping, and chimichurri sauce fits the bill— the main ingredients, cilantro, parsley, and garlic, provide antioxidants and other essential nutrients. Roasted sweet potato fries make the list because the sweetness and spices offer a colorful and fun side dish. These fries are also packed with vitamins, minerals, and fiber, providing numerous health benefits, including supporting gut health and boosting immunity.

More Refreshing and Nutritious Dishes

To add some variety and additional nutritional value to the meal, I recommend the Elote Bowl. This Mexican street dish includes quinoa for extra protein, fiber, iron, and magnesium sources.
